“I enrolled with GreenMark because I knew Mr. Mishrikey had high expectations in teaching writing, and I learned this when I took his world history class. Mr. Mishrikey certainly provided the support and critical commentary that I sought out, but I found that the work we did at GreenMark was somewhat different from freshman year: for starters, the marks themselves were more forgiving; the number of comments on each draft was far more manageable, and Mr. Mishrikey allowed me to break conventions purposefully and meaningfully. In fact, at GreenMark, we focused much more on developing strong ideas.
